At Sure Health Management, the GLA:D®  program is delivered through a combination of small group education sessions and supervised exercise classes, all led by our certified clinician, Steve Moar. Am I required to share personal details, including my health information, during group sessions?

No, you are not required to share any personal details or health information during group sessions. We encourage everyone to participate at their own comfort level. While sharing your situation or experiences can contribute to the group’s learning and support, it is entirely voluntary. Your privacy is always respected, and you are welcome to engage in a way that feels right for you.

What happens if I miss a session?

We understand that life can be busy. If you miss a session, we’ll work with you to arrange a make-up session so you can stay on track.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to join the GLA:D® program?

No, you do not need a referral to join the GLA:D® program. However, if you have any complex medical conditions, we recommend discussing your participation with your GP or specialist.

How long does the GLA:D® program run?

The GLA:D® program runs for six weeks, with two supervised group exercise sessions per week (12 sessions total), plus two education sessions. There is also an initial assessment and a follow-up review three months after you start.

What if I haven’t exercised in a long time?

That’s perfectly okay! The program is designed for all fitness levels. Exercises are tailored to your abilities, and you’ll be supported every step of the way by our team, led by Steve Moar.

Can I claim the GLA:D® program on my private health insurance?

Many private health funds provide rebates for the GLA:D® program. We recommend checking with your insurer to confirm your eligibility.

Is the GLA:D® program suitable if I have other health conditions?

In most cases, yes. Our team will discuss your health history during your initial assessment to ensure the program is safe and appropriate for you. If you have any concerns, please contact us to discuss your individual needs.

What if I need to cancel my registration for the GLA:D program?

You can cancel your registration up to 3 days before the program starts and receive a full (100%) refund. If you need to cancel after the program has begun, you can do so within the first 4 sessions and receive a 50% refund of your payment.

You’ll have a follow-up review three months after your initial assessment to measure your progress and set future goals.
